Primary Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of Contract Execution Plan, to ensure Commercial activities are aligned to achieve Project Objectives.
  • To ensure the development and implementation of processes, procedures and systems operating within the Commercial function are aligned with ANOPC requirements.
  • Maintain Commercial Procedures either by adopting existing Worley Procedures or adapting to suit AHC Project Requirements,
  • Promote awareness of Commercial Process and Procedures to Project Team Members on an ongoing basis.
  • Ensure actions on Risk Register that belong to Commercial discipline are actioned and monitored.
  • Develop and maintain ‘check list’ for ensuring all Commercial activities are in line with Worley Procedures and are auditable.
  • Review of Contractor’s Documents including all correspondence of a commercial or contractual nature and responses to the same.
  • Endorsement of Commercial / Contractual Aspects of Technical Recommendations to enable PMC endorsement to be made
  • Undertake independent Commercial Evaluation in order to ensure robust PMC endorsement of Commercial Recommendations.
  • Routinely attend progress meetings with Contractors and highlight Commercial issues on an ongoing basis. Early identification of potential Contractual / Claim issues with a view to enable actions to be taken early to avoid or mitigate potential Claims.
  • Ensure changes are being identified, logged, actioned and progressed. Ensure Contractual Changes (Variations) are managed in accordance to Owner’s Requirements including providing independent recommendation of same.
  • If necessary, participate in Claim meetings and provide independent advise and recommendation on same.
  • Provide input into PMT team forums, discussion groups, new initiatives etc. as required.
  • Participate in the development of initiatives and procedures:
  • Independent commercial/contractual reporting through the PMC daily/weekly/monthly report to ANOPC.
